Fairlight & District Clearance Services is a local business providing practical clearance and collection services throughout Fairlight, Hastings and the surrounding area. We understand that clearing unwanted belongings can be inconvenient, physically difficult and sometimes overwhelming. Our aim is to offer a friendly and straightforward service, whether you have a single heavy item, several mixed items or an entire space that needs clearing. We can help with household furniture, appliances, electrical items, timber, garage and shed contents, garden items, landlord clear-outs, end-of-tenancy clearances and small-business collections. Each job is considered individually because the amount of work, access and type of items can vary considerably. Before accepting a job, we will ask what needs to be removed, where the items are located and whether there are stairs, narrow access points or other considerations. We will then confirm what can be collected, agree the arrangements and provide a quotation before the work begins. We take care around customers’ homes and properties, work as tidily as possible and aim to leave cleared areas ready to be used again. Where practical, suitable items may be separated for reuse or recycling, while remaining items will require appropriate disposal. We do not collect asbestos, chemicals, clinical waste, hazardous liquids, gas cylinders or other materials requiring specialist handling.
